BARNEY SMITH (guitar) generates a distinctive harmonic and pulsating rhythm reminicent of Joseph Reinhardt. He has also been known to exercise his vocal cords on occasions.

NOBBY WILLETT (banjo) produces a distinctive solo sound to the traditional banjo tuning.

In style the duo resembles the drum-less (but not rhythm-less) swing pioneered by the hot Club de France. Standard tunes, mostly from the thirties and forties, delivered with great skill and humour.
