The Circus Shows proprietor Mr Russ Randall devised the show in 1989 after eight years experience working as an actor in education. Since then HAPPY the clown as he is known, has performed wonders with his own style of fun and laughter, delighting audiences of all ages wherever he goes. "The art of good clowning" says happy, "is to be able to communicate with people, regardless of their age or culture, while being considerate to their disposition on what they consider funny". Happy was voted 1st out of 300+ participants at the International Clowns Festival, held in April 1998 at Southport, England. The trophy is the clowns equivalent to an Oscar award and can be seen at the Clowns Gallery & Archives in Hackney, North London.
A 300+ audience can be accommodated per show when set in it's full open air format providing a full days entertainment package consisting of up to 3 x 30 minute performances, 2 x 30 minute circus skill workshops, plus mix and mingle. The show is completely self contained supported by an independent power supply and 200 watt P.A. Cover is also provided by full public and employers liability insurance.
